Force appeals for witnesses after Heanor pub assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault at the Queen’s Head on Breach Road in Heanor.

The incident happened at about 9.45pm on Friday December 23 when a 39-year-old Heanor man, who was in the smoking area outside the pub, was punched in the face.

The victim had been sitting talking to other customers when a man came over and allegedly punched him several times. He sustained two chipped teeth, a broken nose and other facial injuries.
