Disqualified driver with 20 points on licence jailed after being stopped by Derbyshire police twice in a week

A disqualified driver with 20 points on his licence who was stopped twice by Derbyshire police in a week has been jailed.

Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit tweeted last week: "A38 Alfreton. Jaguar #Seized from a disqualified driver with 20 points on his licence.

"That was last Tuesday.

"Tonight, a week later he’s back out on the road in this Audi A3. Still disqualified."

And the team have now tweeted to say the driver, Szymon Lampart, 27 of Ilthorpe, Hull, has been jailed for 16 weeks and given a further two year driving disqualification.
