Cooker fire in Loscoe

A The occupant of a Loscoe flat had to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire in their cooker yesterday.

Fire crews from Ripley and Heanor were called to the smoke logged home on The Gardens at 2pm on Thursday.

The fire was out when they got there, but the occupant had to be given first aid due to the inhalation.

The crews left the person in the hands of the ambulance service, leaving the scene at 3pm.
