Club’s party in the name of George

The Penguin Club celebrated St George’s Day by holding a party night at the Strutts’ meeting rooms in Belper. The members enjoyed party games, dancing and traditional singing of songs like Rule Britannia, Jerusalem, White Cliffs of Dover, There will Always Be An England and Land of Hope and Glory. Entertainment was provided by the Brian Scot Sound. The Penguin Club is a club for adults with learning difficulties who live in the Amber Valley area.
