SWANWICK Hall School pupils drop some of their unwanted clothes into the school’s new charity textile collection bank.

The scheme aims to raise money for local charity Valley CIDS, which runs the Lighthouse charity shops across the region. Unwanted clothing, shoes and textiles are welcomed. Valley CIDS business manager Peter Hallam said: “The textile bank will help provide much needed additional funds for the school and Valley CIDS. It also matches our ethical and environmental aspirations through the recycling.”
