Car stolen in Alfreton hijacking

Police are appealing for information after a car was hijacked in Alfreton.

At about 5pm on Saturday, a man was in a white BMW 3 Series which was parked in the KFC car park on Hockley Way near to Nixs Hill Industrial Estate when he was approached by three men.

One of the men kicked the car, took the keys and ordered the driver out.

The man who had stolen the keys then walked over towards a blue Mini Cooper and a Volkswagen Golf.

He gave the stolen keys to another man dressed all in black and wearing a ski mask who then got into the BMW and drove off.
