Outdoor Accesory shop Yeomans is set to close its doors in the coming weeks, resulting in the loss of two jobs. Initially the store carried a sign saying ‘closing down prices’, but said it was not due to close. But last month the company changed course and told staff the store would be shutting.
The store has been on Oxford Street for nearly 30 years. Chesterfield-based company Yeomans outdoors Ltd is cutting some of its 80 stores across the country, but has not officially announced how many are to go.
It joins Currys electrical store, Clintons Cards and Bon Marche as major retailers to leave the town.
