A community brewery is raising a glass to a bumper first year having launched three popular beers.
The Drone Valley Brewery has pulled in more than 130 members, attracted shareholders and secured its own premises since launching in November last year.
Registered as a Community Benefit Society, profits go towards local causes.
Explaining its humble beginnings, chair of the management committee Jez Horton said: “It was just an off-the-cuff remark by a group of us at the Three Tuns pub in Dronfield.
“We had no idea it would turn into something this big. It wasn’t as if we had this vision of what we wanted to achieve, we just thought we’d give it a go and it has snowballed.”
