Boy, 10, hit by car at zebra crossing

A boy was hit by a car at a zebra crossing.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a boy in South Normanton.

On Monday, January 11 at 8.30am a 10-year-old boy was walking across a zebra crossing on the Market Place when a car did not give way and collided with him.

The car hit the boy’s leg and the driver then drove off.

Police have released an image of the car which appears to be a black, three door vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Derbyshire police on 101 quoting Fusion reference number 17505.
