IT WAS creepy-crawlies aplenty at the Red River nature reserve in Loscoe last week.
A free event at the local wildlife spot saw families invited to join in a bug hunt organised by the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.
The Trust’s ‘getting closer to nature’ programme of family activities funded by the Big Lottery Fund’s Awards for All are aimed at encouraging families to learn more about the natural world.
The nature reserve is next to St Luke’s Church, High Street, Loscoe. The bug hunt was run in partnership with Groundwork Derby and Derbyshire and is one of many the trust is involved in.
