Appeal for road rage witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses to an alleged road rage incident in Ripley where a driver had his wing mirror damaged by another motorist who confronted him after he stopped to let an ambulance pass.

The victim was travelling along Nottingham Road, in Ripley, between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Tuesday, April 2, and was about to drive off when a grey Peugeot 106 overtook him and then braked, got out of his car and punched the drivers’ side wing mirror, which broke off the vehicle.

He is described as white, about 6ft 2in, of stocky build and with mousy blond hair.
