The annual South Normanton emergency service day is set to be bigger and better than last year.
The free event on Saturday, August 13 between 12 and 4pm at The Post Mill Centre is organised to give the public an insight into the work of the police, ambulance and fire and rescue services.
Services attending the event include police, ambulance, fire and rescue, and army, alongside some lesser known services including RAYNET, 4x4 Response, and Blood Bikes.
Youngsters will have the chance to take a look around a police vehicle, see inside an ambulance and try on a fire fighters uniform.
PCSO Marrion Jeffery from the Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “This is the fourth year and it gets bigger each year. It looks to be a fantastic event and I hope to see you all there.”
