Amanda’s run for disability charity

A Heanor woman is set to run the London Marathon next month to raise money for a national disability charity.

Amanda Stocks, 23, Heanor will tackle the world famous marathon in a months time to raise over a thousand pounds for charity Dogs for the disabled.

Since beginning her fundraising efforts last year she has so far managed to raise just over half of her intended target of £1750.

Dogs for the Disabled is a charity that aims to train Labradors and Golden retrievers to aid people with disabilities.
