Paul Jones and The Blues Band hit Matlock

This iconic outfit play at Derbyshire County Hall, Matlock, on December 9, at 8pm

Paul Jones is a legend from his days with Sixties band Manfred Man (Do Wah Diddy, Pretty Flamingo). The Blues Band were already held in admiration when they formed back in 1979.

They now have 16 albums to their credit and a growing army of fans.

Over the years, Paul’s songs have been recorded by people like Ten Years After, Al Kooper and Carlos Santana. He has also written for films, television and commercials. As a harmonica man, he has performed publicly and/or recorded with Memphis Slim, Alexis Korner, Henry Gray, Alvin “Youngblood” Hart, Susan Tedeschi, Eric Bibb, Otis Grand and Tina Turner.
