Homes available include the three-bedroom detached poppy and the four-bedroom abingdon, the development’s most popular home, a detached house set over three floors, with an integral garage and open-plan kitchen-dining-living area.

Simon Gardiner, Peter James Homes managing director, said: “This development has everything and really needs to be witnessed first-hand to appreciate the incredible location.

“I urge anyone considering a move to take a serious look at Woodlands Heights.”

The Covid-safe sales cabin, with divider screens, hand sanitiser stations and controlled capacity, features a 55-inch touchscreen to enable visitors to take a 360-degree virtual tour around the development and some of its homes, while the viewing platform allows people to experience the full extent of the site as well as the River Amber nearby.

Kerri Bywater, of estate agent Bagshaws Residential, said: “Woodlands Heights is in such a beautiful setting, with homes designed to complement the environment and create a distinctive village atmosphere, yet it’s got such great access to cities like Derby, Nottingham and Sheffield that it’s attracting all types of people who want to live in the countryside but not have a long commute to work.”
