Trio of North Derbyshire homes up for auction

A trio of Derbyshire properties are set to go under the hammer in the coming days, offering house hunters the chance of a bargain.

A three-bedroom, mid-terrace home, “in need of updating”, in Shirebrook is going under the hammer with Taylor James Auctions on April 29.

The property, 221 Main Street, boasts two reception rooms, a kitchen and shower room on the ground floor, two bedrooms on the first floor and an attic bedroom, as well as a rear garden.

Also going under the hammer at the same auction is Rhoslan, 22 Lime Avenue, Ripley.

The auction house says the three-bedroom, detached house “requires refurbishment”, but has the potential to be converted to four bedrooms.

On the ground floor are two reception rooms, a kitchen, utility room and bathroom, with three bedrooms, a kitchen and bathroom on the first floor, as well as a front garden outside.

Going under the hammer with SDL Auctions the same day is 31B Loscoe Road, Heaner, a two-bedroom “palisaded Edwardian property having the unusual benefit of parking for two vehicles to the rear along with a single detached garage”.

There is a sitting room, dining room, kitchen, conservatory and cellar, as well as two double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

SDL says: “Outside to the front there is a small forecourt and to the rear an enclosed garden offering a high degree of privacy with outbuildings including a WC and laundry room”.
