Craig Charles' star-studded funk and soul party at Chatsworth

Funk and soul classics from Craig Charles and special guests Lemar, Mica Paris, Roachford and James Junior kick off a summer of outdoor entertainment at Chatsworth this weekend.

The ultimate funk and soul party comes to Chatsworth on Friday, July 15, as BBC 6 Music brings the most popular show on the network to the garden.

Craig Charles Funk & Soul Live will feature the legendary actor, host and broadcaster presenting a number of special guest artists, all performing the greatest funk and soul songs of all time, backed by the incredible Fantasy Funk Band.

A regular at festivals across the UK, Craig will be joined by special guests including Lemar, Mica Paris, Roachford and James Junior. They will be performing songs including Superstition, Move On Up, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Got To Give It Up, and many more.

Subject to availability, tickets can be purchased at £35 per adult and £25 per child onsite or at the entrance to the concert.

The following night sees the Proms Spectacular returning to the stunning grounds of Chatsworth.

Classical favourites including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance and many more; together with all the favourites associated with The Last Night Of The Proms. Tenor John Pierce and soprano Janet Mooney wwill perform arias including Nessun Dorma, O Mio Babbino Caro and more. Jae Alexander will conduct the UK Philharmonic Orchestra.

Tickets for Proms Spectacular on Saturday, July 16, cost £28 (adult) and £20 (child), available onsite or at the entrance to the concert subject to availability.

Refreshments will be available on both evenings.
