Award-winning company's show is character forming

Highly acclaimed show Seven Ages, which stars Kevin Tomlinson, will be staged in Burton Institute, Winster, on Saturday, May 7, at 8pm.

The production comes to the village following more than 300 performances throughout the United Kingdom and a world tour taking in Canada, America, New Zealand and Hong Kong.

Essentially a comedy - with touching moments - Seven Ages premiered at the EdinburghFestival gaining five-star reviews and achieving a sell-out run.

The show explores the idea that we go through seven stages in life – from infancy, through love and wisdom, to growing old disgracefully.It seeks to explore two of the most important questions in life: ‘Why am I here?’ and ‘What’s important in my life?’

The show is produced by award-winning Kepow Theatre. one of Europe’s leading improvisation and mask-based theatre companies.

The company has been honoured with Sunday Times Playwright Award and the Rose Bruford Trust Directors Award.

Kepow has produced 25 shows since its formation in 1991 by Kevin Tomlinson and Paul Jenkins while they were studying for their drama degrees at Hull University.
