The tape is rolling again for Barrett's Benn-inspired play

The critically acclaimed play Tony's Last Tape is to return to Nottingham Playhouse next month.

Andy Barrett’s play can be seen in the Neville Studio at the theatre on September 17-18, prior to a national tour.

Directed by Giles Croft, it is based on the diaries of Tony Benn, one of Britain’s most celebrated and divisive politial figures of the second half of the 20th century, and a man who documented his busy life in a series of daily diary entries for over half a century.

In the play, an old man sits in a room, faced with a collection of recording devices he has collected over his long and eventful life.

Tickets are £15. Call the box office on 0115 9419419
