A Midsummer Night’s Dream starring Game of Thrones actress screens online for National Theatre At Home

Game of Thrones actress Gwendoline Christie stars as fairy queen Titania in A Midsummer Night's Dream which will be streamed online in the latest offering from the National Theatre At Home.

She stars opposite Oliver Chris (One Man, Two Guvnors) playing Oberon in the production captured live from the Bridge Theatre in 2019.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream will start streaming tonight (Thursday, June 25)at 7pm on the National Theatre’s YouTube channel and will be available on demand for seven days.

Shakespeare’s most famous comedy also features David Moorst (Allelujah) as Puck and Hammed Animashaun (Barber Shop Chronicles) in the role of Bottom.

This production reunites the team from the 2018 smash hit Julius Caesar including Tony and Olivier award-winning director Nicholas Hytner (The History Boys, One Man, Two Guvnors).
