See Rattigan’s acclaimed final play

Terence Rattigan’s play Cause Celebre is to be performed at Nottingham’s Lace Market Theatre from July 18-23.

In the play, the infamous real life 1930s trial of vivacious Alma Rattenbury and her teenage lover for the murder of Rattenbury’s husband is seen through the eyes of the emotionally repressed Edith Davenport.

Rattigan’s powerful final play, this is a compelling courtroom drama with a twist at the end, mixing, suspense, humour and compassion.

Tickets to see the production are available by calling the box office on 0115 9507201.
