Whitney Houston rose to superstardom through her awe inspiring talent, but her life, like many others who experience the dizzy heights of fame, was tragically cut short when she passed away at the age of just 48.

Her music is being celebrated in a new theatre show currently enjoying a huge 70-date UK national tour.

Producer, Paul Roberts, spent many arduous weeks searching the UK for a star in the making who would have the personality and voice to provide a fitting tribute to Whitney.
After auditioning hundreds of singers, he discovered an exceptional young talent in Rebecca Freckleton, and knew instantly she was what he was looking for.

Rebecca has toured internationally and worked alongside high profile artistes including Macy Gray, Paloma Faith, The Noisettes and Jools Holland.

Together with a super talented company of singers and musicians, she delivers a show packed with all the Whitney hits (Wanna Dance With Somebody, I’m Every Woman, I Will Always Love You).

The show, entitled Whitney - Queen Of The Night is at Buxton Opera House on Saturday, October 10 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced from £24 to £26. Call 01298 72190 or visit: www.buxtonoperahouse.org.uk
