Win tickets to see The Vamps performing later this month at Sherwood Pines, as part of our latest fantastic competition.

The Vamps will be playing this summer as part of Forest Live, the concert series organised by the Forestry Commission, where bands perform in stunning woodland locations around the country.

The Vamps formed when the band members found one another via their respective YouTube channels.

Subsequently they amassed a serious online following with the upload of a series of punkish, acoustic-driven covers of chart-conquering pop hits. They’ve now had 230 million total YouTube and Vevo views as well as sold out arena tours. Last year, their meteoric rise to fame was confirmed with sold out tour dates and the release of debut album Meet The Vamps, a collection of pop-party anthems such as Can We Dance, Last Night, Wild Heart, Oh Cecilia (Breaking My Heart) and Somebody To You.

The Vamps plus special guests, Union J, The Tide and Hometown will be appearing at Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe, near Mansfield, on Saturday, June 27. For tickets and further information call the box office on 03000 680400 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission to bring forests to new audiences. Income generated from ticket sales is spent on protecting, improving and expanding England’s forests and woodlands and increasing their value to people and wildlife.

Over Forest Live’s 14-year history, money raised has contributed to a wide range of projects, from wildlife conservation to making improvements for visitors.

With everything required for a great night out, including full catering and bar facilities, the gigs are renowned for their relaxed atmosphere.
