Rose Hill are back with more G and S

THE Rosehill Musical Society return for their latest show at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre from February 21-25.

Ruddigore is one of the later offerings from Gilbert and Sullivan, a burlesque of Victorian melodrama, set to some of Arthur Sullivan’s finest music.

It is the tale of a witch’s curse and numerous deceptions, featuring a sweet, innocent heroine, a hero in disguise, a mad village girl, a wicked baronet, ghostly ancestors coming to life and, of course, a happy ending.

Tickets are available from Peter Featherstone on 0115 9258717.
