FEMALE-FRONTED metal band Plague Of Ares will be returning to headline the New Inn, Ilkeston, on Friday, May 4.
The young band, whose influences include Evanescence, Avenged Sevenfold and Iron Maiden, have been busy making a name for themselves throughout 2011 and continuing into 2012.
This is a hometown gig for bassist Scott Moodie and the band have recently been hard at work with the intention of making 2012 their year.
A UK tour is planned to promote their soon-to0be-released debut three-track EP.
Plague Of Ares will be joined by female-fronted rock band Angel Of Solace with rock disco by Wolfman and It. More information can be found at www.facebook.com/PlagueOfAres.
Admission to the gig is free and the first band will be onstage at 9pm.
