Somercotes factory worker Matt Warman is hoping his latest song Queen and Country is going to be a right royal hit.
The 35-year-old singer songwriter, aptly of Queen Street in the village, penned the tune in honour of her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee.
He said: “I like following the royal family. Some people aren’t too keen, but I think it’s great for British heritage!”
