Have your say

Do you fancy playing at Indietracks next year?

Applications are now open for bands and DJs interested in playing at the next festival, which takes place at the Midland Railway, Butterley, on the weekend of July 25-27 2014.

The organisers will have around 50 bands playing across four stages, as well as five DJs for the evening discos.

They are now encouraging applications from any interested artists and DJs, so if you fancy playing, please get in touch.

Also, if you know a band that might like to apply please let them know the organisers are inviting applications.

The festival has built up a fine reputation in recent years for offering dozens of indiepop bands, plus the attraction of steam trains, craft workshops - and discos too!

To apply, please email the following information to indietracksbands@gmail.com by Monday January, 20 2014 at the latest:

n A short biography - one paragraph is fine, and please indicate where you’re located.

n A link to your music. Bandcamp, Soundcloud and YouTube links are all perfect. Please don’t attach MP3s. (DJs don’t need to send a music link of course).

Please put “[Your band / DJ name]: Indietracks 2014” as the subject title of your email. This will help the festival’s organisers sift you out from any spam.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “We’re really looking forward to your applications!

“In the meantime, if you’re looking for Christmas present ideas, it’s now possible to send our recent Indietracks compilation albums as a gift. Just click on the ‘Send as Gift’ option on the following links. All proceeds go to the Midland Railway charity”.
