BLONDIE and Debbie Harry fans are in for a real treat when tribute band Blondied make an appearance at The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, July 6.
Fronted by the amazing Debbie Harry look-and-soundalike Michelle Hendriks, the five-piece band will be rattling through a set of classic tracks made famous by Blondie, one of the biggest of all the New Wave acts of the late 70s/early 80s.
Blondied are in regular demand on the live circuit and also for TV appearances, thanks to their accurate and entertaining renditions of many Blondie favourites.
On Saturday, July 7, the King Street venue will be the setting for a gig to celebrate the launch of rock aces Panic Room’s new album.
Skin is an 11-track album features the band at its powerful and brooding best.
Finally, the latest in the free Acoustic Wednesdays gigs in the bar, from 9pm, takes place on Wednesday, July 11. Jo Lewis will be performing a set of acoustic roots music.
Doors open at 8pm and admission is £9 (£8 concessions) for Blondied and £10 for the Panic Room album launch event.
