LOCAL organisation Deafbox Promotions has arranged an all-day music festival to be held on Saturday, September 10, at the Red Lion Hotel in Wirksworth.
The event forms part of the first weekend of the Wirksworth Festival and is aimed at music lovers of all ages, with nine bands on the bill throughout the day.
Kicking off the proceedings at 2pm will be Wirksworth indie band The Piracy while Bakewell rockers Neon Rail Road are up next at 3pm for a 40-minute set.
From 4pm, you can see Ripley indie rock outfit The Outakes and Belper favourites Riptide are on from 5pm, with their selection of pop/punk songs. Ripley Battle Of The Bands finalists Okapi play from 6pm, while indie rock covers will be the order of the day from Derby band Default, performing from 7pm.
Matlock rockers Causeway Lane take over from 8pm, with female-fronted Derbyshire rock band Bury The Ladybird on from 9pm. Rounding off the proceedings, from 10pm, will be Nottingham reggae/ska band Stuck In 2nd.
