Andy White is the latest performer to appear at The Queen’s Head in Belper.

He will be bringing his UK tour to the Chesterfield Road-based venue on Sunday, February 16, to promote his brand new album, How Things Are, which is released on the day after the concert.

Since signing for Stiff Records in 1985, Andy White has toured and collaborated with such musical greats as Van Morrison and Sinead O’Connor while continously developing his own reputation as a songwriter of real stature.

Andy’s musical trajectory has indeed confirmed him as a ‘global troubadour’.

Belfast born and bred, he is now based in Australia and continues a worldwide touring schedule that sees him arriving in Belper from a series of Italian engagements, proof perhaps that music of passion and quality always transcends national boundaries.

Touring his new album, Andy’s set will doubtless include favourites old and new.

How Things Are is Andy’s 11th studio album, and his most intimate to date.

Released through Floating World Records, the album contains a beautiful and honest collection of songs, straight from the heart.

Admission to the gig at The Queen’s Head is £7.

Doors open for the concert at 8.15pm.
