Are You Experienced bering their tribute to the music of legendary performer Jimi Hendrix to The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, November 29.

This is a band that has achieved consistently large audiences at the Flowerpot over the year - and no wonder.

Guitarist John Campbell bears more than just a passing resemblance and has drawn on his many years of playing in different bands and various styles to perfect his ‘Hendrix’ persona.

When he plays his strat behind his head and with his teeth, it brings a smile to the face of even the most finicky Hendrix fan.

With his unique visual playing style, bass guitarist Mark Arnold has also played in various bands over the years and provides a solid foundation as one half of the rhythm section.

Drummer and backing vocalist Kevin O’Grady, completes the line up.

Anyone who has caught the act will surely agree that Kevin puts nothing less than 100 per cent into his powerhouse drumming style.

The band are proud to be playing the timeless music of Jimi Hendrix at the King Street venue, providing some nostalgic moments for those lucky people who actually witnessed Jimi in the flesh and recreating some of the magic for a new and eager audience.

Yes, there was, and always will be, only one Jimi Hendrix.

Catch Are You Experienced when they come to the venue and relive the excitement and explosive stage show of the Jimi Hendrix Experience in all their glory.

Let the band take you through all the favourites like Hey Joe, Voodoo Chile and All Along The Watchtower.

On Saturday, November 30, there will be an eagerly-awaited evening of Southern Rock courtesy of Skinny Molly, currently on their Haywire Riot tour.

The band was formed nearly ten years ago by former Lynyrd Skynyrd member Mike Estes for what was originally supposed to be a one-off tour of Europe but remains a going concern almost a decade on, such was the response from fans.
