This weekend will see Kedleston Hall near Derby hum with the sound of classic cars.
On Sunday the grounds of the National Trust property will hum with be host to more than a hundred MG cars as the MG Owners’ Club meet for its annual Kimber Run.
The collection of cars will be on display from 2pm, after members return from their tour around the Derbyshire countryside.
Jonathan Turley, visitor experience Manager at Kedleston Hall, said: “We are delighted to be hosting the MG Owners’ Club as part of their Kimber Run.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity for our visitors to treat their dads on Father’s Day, and make it a really special day out.”
The house is open over the weekend, with a special Silver display and demonstrations in Caesar’s Hall as part of the ‘Studio Silver Today’ exhibition by the Goldsmiths Company.
Visitors can learn all about the craft of smithing and meet Theresa Nguyen who is in residence each Saturday.
