Neil Innes takes to the stage at Derby’s Guildhall Theatre with his latest show Short Songs And Tall Stories, on Friday, October 28.
Best know for his collaborative work Monty Python – he is known to some as the ‘seventh Python – and as a member of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band, he will perform a wry, poignant, humorous and topical one-man show, spiced with anecdotes of his life and times in the worlds of media and show business.
Neil’s solo shows tickle the emotions with a potent mix of fine musicianship and enlightened lyricism, packed with sharp observations celebrating the absurdities of modern existence.
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets to see Neil Innes in action are £14 and are available from the box office on 01332 255800.
