Heanor Musical Theatre Company’s young Rising Stars are making a big contribution to rehearsals for Aladdin the pantomime.

Amy Booth (17) also of Heanor was also a pupil at Aldercar School but is now studying musical theatre at New College Nottingham. This is her first show with the Heanor company and she is playing Princess So-Shi.
Chairman Kim Harris, who is playing Widow Twankey, commented: “We are delighted to have so many young people joining us in this production. Our youth section has been going for many years and they have produced some great shows.”
The panto is being performed at Heanor Gate Science College from February 18-22 to Saturday at 7.15pm. All tickets are £6 on the Tuesday evening and for the rest of the week the full price is £9 with £8 for concessions. The Box Office is on 07472 003 095.
