Kings With Lyon will return to The Flowerpot in Derby on Friday, June 20, to perform their tribute to the Kings Of Leon.

The Kings Of Lyon are a special band. They are the most astounding, vibrant tribute to the Kings Of Leon, playing the best music of the last four albums from KOL with an energy and quality which, has already gained them a massive, enviable reputation.

They are now increasingly in huge demand for the life and the quality live sound they bring to an exciting varied set. Based in the UK, The Kings Of Lyon’s aim is to be the closest you’ll get to the real thing.

The set includes tracks such as The Bucket, Molly’s chambers, Use Somebody, On Call, King of the Rodeo, Taper Jean Girl, Milk, Knocked Up, Holy Roller Novocaine, California Waiting, Fans, Notion, Red Morning Light, Soft, Pistol of Fire, Four Kicks, Slow Nights So Long, Joe’s head, Black Thumbnail, Charmer and more.

Then, on Saturday, June 21, Panic Room will be performing at the King Street venue.

One of the most exciting progressive rock bands currently on the circuit, Panic Room will bring their stunning, award-winning music to the venue to promote their highly-anticipated new album Incarnate.

The band returned to the studio in the summer of 2013 to record their fourth album, and have created another breathtaking collection of songs.

Along with the brand new material on this tour will be a selection of the most popular ‘fan-favourites’ from their past three albums, all creating the live shows which Panic Room are famed for.

Expect music of epic grandeur, spine-tingling beauty and gutsy raw power, all delivered with the sheer passion and sense of genuine fun which has made Panic Room one of the best-loved live bands on the live music circuit today.

Led by the soaring voice and magnetic stage-presence of frontwoman Anne-Marie Helder, the band are made up of five musicians, whose past touring CVs include work with many legends such as Simply Red, Fish, Ultravox, Toto, Keith Emerson, and Robert Palmer.

Panic Room were recently nominated for ‘Anthem of the Year’ in the first-ever Progressive Music Awards, and attended a rock-star-studded ceremony at London’s Kew Gardens, along with many TV and radio personalities.

Doors open for both gigs at 8pm at The Flowerpot.

Admission is £9 for Kings Of Lyon and £12 for Panic Room.
