Left Hand Drive’s extensive gigging schedule have taken the band to many festivals including last week’s Exile as well as Stainsby, Off The Tracks, Wirksworth, Priddy and Ferry Folk.

Left Hand Drive have supported the likes of Hugh Cornwell, Eliza Carthy, Derrin Nauendorf, Prego, Tee and Latouche and Last Night’s Fun.

The group was formed by mandolin and harmonica player Jim Gilmour and singer/acoustic guitar Chris Carr who tried out their sound in pubs in North Norfolk. Three years later bassist Simon Ball joined them on tour to become the third member of the band.

Drummer Haydn Lowe became a permanent fixture after the release of second album, Uncle Colin’s Lovely Letter in 2013.

Tickets for the gig on July 9 cost £7, from the venue or contact www.lefthandrive.org
