Here is another chance for cricket fans to win free tickets to an exciting Twenty20 match involving the Derbyshire Falcons.

The Falcons, whose side features New Zealand internationals Jimmy Neesham, Hamish Rutherford and Neil Broom, as well as prolific batsman Wayne Madsen, have been treating supporters to some big-hitting treats so far this summer as they aim for one-day glory.

And there are still two fixtures remaining at The 3aaa County Ground, Derby before the North Group of the NatWest T20 Blast winds up.

One of them is on Friday, July 22 when Derbyshire take on Worcestershire Rapids, whom they beat last Friday night.

But we have tickets to give away for the next one -- against Lancashire Lightning next Wednesday evening (July 13).

It should be a thriller, with both sides still in with a chance of finishing in the top four of the group and earning qualification for the knockout stages of the competition, which lead to Finals Day at Egbaston in Birmingham later in the season. The day is one of the highlights of the domestic cricketing calendar.

Ahead of a full round of matches on Friday night, Falcons sit in fifth place in the table after three wins from their nine matches, while Lightning sit just below them in seventh, also after three victories from nine.

The Lancashire squad, which is captained by Steven Croft, boasts lots of dangerous players, including England duo Jimmy Anderson and Jos Buttler, and 35-year-old South African Alviro Petersen, who has played in 36 Test matches for his country and amassed more than 2,000 runs at an average of just under 35.

Twenty20 cricket originated in England in 2003 and was conceived as an exciting alternative to the one-day and four-day game. The format of just 20 overs per side ensures fans are captivated by every ball, every hit and every run.

T20 merges the drama of short-form cricket with a party atmosphere at grounds -- and the County Ground is no different as it regularly attracts big crowds for Blast matches, which last no more than three hours and provide thrilling entertainment for all the family.

Now is your chance to be there because we are offering the opportunity for you to win one of five pairs of tickets for the match between Falcons and Lightning.

To enter the competition, simply answer the following question.

What is the name of Lancashire’s T20 side?

E-mail your answers to sport.nmsy@jpress.co.uk before 12 noon on Monday, July 11 to enter the prize draw.
