Selston Town were in Derbyshire County Cricket League Division 5N action on Saturday at Belper Meadows.
Belper won the toss in a match that had its overs reduced due to the wet weather affecting the area on Saturday and asked Selston to bat first.
They were eventually restricted to 105-8 from their 36 overs.
Skipper Paul Stovey was the main batsman for his side, top scoring with 44.
Steve Johnson (13), James Bailey (12) and Lee Harris (17 not out) were the only other Selston batsmen to make it into double figures.
For Belper Meadows, Daniel Kelly bowled an excellent spell of 4-12 from ten overs.
Joe Slater also took 3-28 from 11 overs to help make the going difficult for the Selston batsmen.
In reply, Belper Meadows made steady progress and eventually made 106-6 in27.5 overs to win the game by four wickets .
Kelly completed a fine all-round game by top scoring with 46.
Stephen Dennis took 2-26 for Selston Town with four other bowlers taking a wicket apiece.
