Ripley RASCALS had 24 swimmers take part in the recent Derbyshire County Championships, with some excellent results.
The hard training from the swimmers shone through as they recorded 134 new personal best times and 11 RASCALS new all time bests.
Over the two weekends at Arc Leisure in Matlock, Molly Cooper and Lauren-Sophie Clark (both aged 11) achieved their very first Midland qualifying times, Molly in the 200m backstroke, 100m freestyle and 200m IM and Lauren-Sophie in the 100m free.
Midland times were also achieved by 12-year-olds Alice Richards in the 200m back, 100m and 200m free and Mia Barber in the 100m free.
Adding to their already achieved Midland times were Fearn Middleton, 14, in the 200m IM and 400m free and Jamie Ingram, 15, in the 50m and 200m backstroke.
Jamie also set a new Derbyshire Junior record in the 1500m free with a time of 15.59.72.
Twelve Derbyshire champions came from RASCALS.Molly Cooper in the 50m backstroke and 50m butterfly, Jason Lockwood, 12, in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke, Alice Richards in the 100m and 800m free and 400m IM, Fearn Middleton in the 200m backstroke and Jamie Ingram in the 1500m free, 50m and 100m butterfly.
Also swimming well were Rosie Greenwood, Gracie Dawes, Charlotte Middup, Alisha Haslam, Amber Hughes, Elizabeth Howe, Leila Granger, Hannah Middup, Emily Field, Ella Ingram, Morgan Buxton, Samuel Marsh, Joshua Wheeler, Harry Wyld, Seth Bullock and Andrew Parr.
