This week has seen a drop in the rod average at Carsington Fishery.
However this what would be expected for this time of year.
The warm bright days and warm water conditions are pushing the fish into deeper water.
The rod average was 1.67 with 100 fish caught by 59 anglers.
The heaviest rainbow caught was 5lbs by David Holmes at the Dam wall on a orange blob. The heaviest brown caught was 1lbs 12oz caught by Paul Pearce, near buoy 5 on cats whisker.
