Codnor Miners FC were amongst the goals again on Thursday evening when they crushed Newton 5-1.

The Codnor goals came from Matt Guilor, Russ Sharp who hit a brace, Tom Hawkins and Kevin France.

Marc Owen got the Newton consolation.

In the other group A game, Crib Bar beat Ripley Town FC 4-2.

Adam Hassell got both Ripley Town goals with the Crib scoresheet made up of goals from Cory Bowler, Matt Brittle, Sam Blount and Chris Green.

Fixtures for sunday, July 8

Ambergate v Holbrook St Michaels, 12.30pm

Swanwick Pentrich Road v South Normanton, 2.15pm.

Both games will take place at Charles Hill, Loscoe.
