Return of the Undulator

THE popular Wirksworth Undulator is back and organisers are looking for hardy runners willing to tackle this year’s race, to be held on Saturday, October 20.

The race, organised by Wirksworth Running Club and now renamed the Stuart Learmouth Wirksworth Undulator in memory of one of the friends of the race organiser, takes place over 8.4 miles and has an ascent of 1,260ft.

It is a mix of off-road, trails and lanes.

Registration is on the day from 9.30am at Stony Wood, just up from the Lime Kiln pub on Cromford Road, Wirksworth. The race starts at 10.30am.

Please note that there is no junior class in this event.
