A single goal was enough to give Swanwick Pentrich Road the points at Holbrook St Michaels on Saturday in the Central Midlands League Black Dragon Badges Division South.
The winning goal for the Swans came from Shane Buckerfield.
Result of the day came at Barrowby, where the home side recorded only their second win of the season, but did it in spectacular style with a 6-0 win over Mickleover Royals.

Steve O’Connell scored twice for the Derby side, with Danny Briscoe and Dave Carr also on target, Jay-Lee Hodgson providing the only bright spot for Clifton. Two more of the top five, Bilborough Pelican and Belper United, fought out a 2-2 draw, with Pelican’s two coming from Carey Knight and Danny Johnson, Belper replying through Sam Vickers and Jordan McRobie. The points were also shared at Bishop’s Drive, a late equaliser from Liam Webster rescuing a point for Southwell City after they had trailed to a goal scored by Hucknall Town’s Joe Lomax.
