Butterley Utd CC have decided to re-introduce the once successful junior sides to the club setup.

The junior season starts shortly, with a Kwik Cricket side (all primary school ages) and an under 15s side entered in the excellent Notts & Derby Border Youth League.

All juniors are welcome, regardless of ability, with practice held at Greenwich Playing Fields, Nottingham Road, Ripley, from 6.30pm every Wednesday.

If you are interested in getting involved in this junior section, please contact either Glyn Hubbard on 07814 540039 (email ghubbard@talktalk.net) or Gemma Day on 07415 653229 (email day.gemma@yahoo.co.uk

n Along with the introduction of the juniors, the club will shortly be welcoming a number of players to the club, with Justin Neville the first to arrive.

However, Butterley Utd lose the services of Joe Burke, who has been an excellent servant to the club, and the club wishes him every success with his move to Marehay, and the opportunity to play at a higher level.
