Grading success for Paragon youngsters

Paragon Kickboxing at Heanor

Paragon Kickboxing at Heanor

Saturday, May 10, saw the first group grading of Paragon ninjas from Paragon kickboxing clubs in Marlpool and Langley mill, run by Johnny Parry.

They joined other ninjas at Paragon Ilkeston where the 3-7 year olds were put through their paces by Selina Dorn, chief instructor of the Paragon ninjas programme.

Johnny was there to watch his young prodigies, aged 3-5 years old, at their grading.

He said: “I got quite emotional watching!

“I was so proud of them all. I love teaching the little ninjas, it’s so much fun.

“My own son started as a ninja at the age of three under Selina and still trains at nine and loves it just as much as ever.

“They were all so well behaved and deserve some recognition.”

Johnny runs Little Ninjas on a Tuesday at All Saints Church, Marlpool, at 5.30pm, and at St. Andrew’s, Langley Mill, on a Sunday at 3.30pm.
