Clay Cross return to winning ways in style

Clay Cross Town returned to winning ways last weekend with a commanding 7-0 victory over visitors Thoresby Colliery.

Indeed they were 4-0 up at half time and the final tally included four goals from leading scorer Rockie White, two from James Gee Pemberton and one from Carl Witford.

The next few weeks should also see a visit from TV2 a Norwegian TV channel who are coming to take a look at the club in relation to the bizarrely-named ground, The Devil Made Me Do It Tattoo Studio Ground.

The club now have two away trips. This Saturday they are at Brodsworth and next Tuesday they go to Ollerton Town before returning home on September 15 for a 3pm kick off against Sherwood Colliery.
