Ripley Town must be wondering where the first points of the season are coming from in the MRA Division One.
Another winning position was squandered after town led 4-1 with half hour to play, but they collapsed and conceded four more late goals.
The game changed when skipper Matt johnstone suffered a broken ankle and Town’s lack of depth in the squad proved crucial.
The first hour, however, saw Ripley produce a fine display of football with goals from Ian Randall Nathan Gration and two for the lively Lewis Parkin.
But the late collapse again saw them end up pointless. This Saturday, Ripley travel to play Ambergate FC (3pm start).
