Swanwick Pentrich Road were back in action after a three-week break, away at Eastwood Community FC.
The Swans were trying to make up for the previous defeat at Matlock Town but a similar story unfolded in a 3-1 defeat.
The game started well for the Swans taking the lead after only five minutes through a very well-worked goal.
Matt Phillips and Guy Wilding linked up well with the latter laying the ball off for the oncoming Chris Bradley to calmly side foot past the Eastwood keeper.
It wasn’t long before Eastwood were back on level terms with a cross to the back post and Greg Conn heading powerfully past Adam Jablonski in the Swanwick goal.
Eastwood remained on top, forcing Jablonski into fine saves while Swanwick were reduced to long range efforts.
Swans stood strong at the start of the second and went close to scoring with Mark Green and Guy Wilding wasting chances.
Swanwick were finally made to pay when Paddy Webb raced onto a through ball and rounded the Swanwick keeper to tap into an empty net to give Eastwood the lead.
Swanwick pushed for an equaliser but deep into stoppage time Eastwood got a third through Harry Allen.
