Alfreton Town sit just four points outside the relegation zone after being beaten 3-0 at Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday.

The hosts went in front on 19 minutes when James McQuilkin scored from the spot following a foul by Adam Smith.

It was then 2-0 on 27 minutes as Liam Truslove finished first time past Fabian Speiss.

The third also came before half-time, Tyrell Waite getting the goal from an Ezewele cross on 33 minutes.

Alfreton put in a much-improved display after half-time but couldn’t pull a goal back and the hosts held on to go third in the table.

Full report to follow.

Alfreton host FC United of Manchester next Saturday, 3pm start.
