ALFRETON Town’s fine run of form came to an end on Easter Monday with a 2-0 home defeat against York City, but not before the Reds had achieved a fine 1-0 at promotion hopefuls Wrexham on Saturday.
Despite the loss, the Reds have secured their place in the Blue Square Premier for next season.
For more details on the two matches, see page 30.
Meanwhile, Alfreton have announced segregation plans for this Saturday’s (April 14) Blue Square Bet Premier Division clash with Luton Town.
As with all Conference Premier Division games at the Impact Arena this season, segregation will be in place. However, home supporters should note that for this game, there will be no admission to the Impact Arena from the Alma Street turnstiles for home supporters and Reds fans will only be able to gain access to the ground via the North Street turnstiles on the day.
Luton Town fans will only be able to enter the ground from the Alma Street end, using both the traditional segregation turnstiles for away supporters and also the designated turnstyles at that end of the ground for home supporters.
With a far larger crowd than usual anticipated for this game, Alfreton fans are urged to arrive earlier than usual to avoid congestion at the turnstiles.
